I did have steps for my older dog, but she began to have trouble lifting her hind legs high enough to reach them. She was a little leery of the ramp at first, taking several days to feel comfortable with it. She's good with it now and it's so much easier on her hip joints. Solidly well made, strong enough for her at about 50 pounds.

My older dog needs a ramp to get up on the bed. I unfortunately didn't measure very well, and this is a bit shorter than I'd planned - but it works perfectly for my son's room.

With two aging bulldogs this is just what we needed. It allows them to get up and down without jarring their legs and backs. Perfect for them! At first they were hesitant to try it but within minutes they couldn’t resist. I would recommend this product.
Actually bought this for my super senior cat and I love it. And she's actually using it to get up and down on the couch. She would jump up okay (having to size it up for a few seconds) but the jumping down always seemed too violent for her old bones and osteoarthritis. This has solved that problem. May buy another one despite the costly price. However, I appreciate that this is made in the US and is quality, not some cheap junk from China (king of the cat torture and dog abuse countries--they also love dog and cat meat there. Boycott that awful country).
This ramp is awesome! It is very well built, sturdy yet light weight. My bulldog can now easily get onto the couch and back down without any undue stress to her hip and legs.

My old very minor feedback would be that there are visible drip marks from the poly, but it’s a dog ramp and they are clear so who cares lol. Would definitely recommend.
